Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position requires a strong background in Neuro PCU and involves floating between multiple locations as needed.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 7 PM – 7:30 AM
• Total of 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed.
• Floating to similar units or facilities may be required.
• Availability to work weekends will be determined by the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU, with a focus on neurological care.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, updating care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between designated locations as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience, with a focus on Neuro nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor.
• Active state license to practice nursing, with no restrictions or hits.
• Willingness to accommodate 7 days of requested time off (RTO) and no RTO during the first week of the assignment.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside outside of the state where the position is located to be eligible for assignment.
• Travel experience in nursing is highly preferred.
