Surgical Technologist (Allied)

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The Surgical Technologist will play a critical role in providing surgical care and support within the operating room. This position requires flexibility and readiness to meet on-call demands.

Schedule

Varied schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and supplies for operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Monitor the patient’s condition during surgery and assist as needed.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of instruments and work areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in surgical technology within the specialty.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Preferred certification as a Surgical Technologist from NBSTA or NCCT.

Holiday Expectations

The Surgical Technologist must be available to work 2 major holidays from the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, as well as 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
