Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable to meet the needs of various locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.
• Float to multiple locations within the region as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Emergency Room setting.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, NIH.
• Must be able and willing to float between facilities.
• Must meet the 50-mile radius rule; locals are not accepted.

Scheduling and Availability

• Shift: Night shift (3 x 12-hour shifts).
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend.
• RTO (request time off) restrictions will be at the manager’s discretion.
• Guaranteed hours according to the call-off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.

Additional Information

• Return staff must be gone for at least one year to return as a traveler.
• Limited to 2 contracts; can only extend once and must be gone for 6 months to return.
• Scrub colors: Royal blue and white.
• Charting system: Epic.
