X-Ray Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and delivering high-quality images for the evaluation of patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various X-ray imaging procedures, including outpatient orthopedics, surgical imaging, fluoroscopy, and portable X-ray examinations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and effective diagnostic processes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines to demonstrate high standards of imaging quality.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems for efficient documentation and patient data management (Cerner).

Shift Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Shift: Day shift (5×8 hours, 09:00 – 17:30)
• Weekend work is required; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Must possess a valid state license prior to starting.
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations are required.

Work Environment

This position will be part of a collaborative team of 8-10 technologists, rotating through various imaging specialties. The facility primarily serves adult patients requiring transplant and cancer care.
