Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and best practices. This position will require flexibility with scheduling, including day shifts and on-call responsibilities during evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures in the Cath Lab and Special Procedures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards during all imaging processes.
• Respond to after-hours calls and provide support every other weekend.
• Work two weeknights per week as per scheduling requirements.

Education and Work Experience

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in Cath Lab or Special Procedures is strongly preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is preferred.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice is required.
• Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification is required.
