Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Progressive Care Unit

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Progressive Care Unit. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from strokes, neuro surgeries, and other telemetry and medical patients.

Position Information:

• Unit: Neuro Progressive Care Unit (NPCU)
• Shift: 7p – 7a
• Openings: 1
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• Number of Beds: 20
• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and implement care plans based on individual needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

• Education: Required nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Certifications: Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in neuro medicine, telemetry, and post-operative care.
• Common Diagnoses: Stable post-stroke patients, stable neuro surgery patients, telemetry patients, and other medical patients.
