Ultrasound Technologist

Position Overview

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology, anatomy, and patient care practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and evaluations on patients as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations, and explain procedures to alleviate anxiety.
• Obtain and analyze images and data, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a sterile environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in ultrasound, with preferred certifications including:
• ARDMS
• ARDMS AB
• ARDMS RVT
• Experience in general ultrasound recommended.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Information

This position is a day shift, requiring a schedule of five 8-hour shifts, typically from 08:00 to 16:30.
