Interventional/Special Procedure Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional/Special Procedure Technologist to join our team. This position requires rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and involves on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional and special radiographic procedures with a high degree of competency.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain applicable diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on new techniques and technologies.

Qualifications

• Radiography Registry [R.T. (R)] from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Two (2) years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures is preferred.
• Hybrid interventional radiology experience is highly desirable.
• Cardiac Interventional or Vascular Interventional registry by ARRT is required or eligibility to obtain it within six months of employment.
• Must possess and maintain a Connecticut State license to practice radiography during employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
