Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient treatment plans.
• Monitor and manage patient health and stability during their stay.
• Document patient interactions and responses to treatments accurately.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding ongoing care needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Ability to float within the facility and adjust to various needs as required.
• Flexible availability, including every other weekend and major holidays as outlined below.

Shift Details

This position offers 3×12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Major Holidays

Travelers are expected to work during major holidays that fall within their assignment period. The following are considered major holidays:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Compliance

Full compliance with necessary documentation and training is required to start on time. Late compliance may result in a delay of 2 weeks due to the orientation schedule.

Additional Information

Local candidates will be accepted at the same rate. Orientation hours will vary based on contract length. Candidates will be clinically reviewed to determine fit before being presented for a final decision.
