Medical Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant with a focus on oncology, specifically in breast care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with various clinical tasks, and interacting with patients regarding breast-related issues and concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care within the Breast Care Center.
• Perform clinical tasks such as taking patient histories, preparing exam rooms, and assisting during examinations.
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and preventative health measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no block schedules associated with this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• First-time applicants are welcome to apply.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is required.
• Local candidates are encouraged to apply; travelers residing within a 50-mile radius will be considered local.
