Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires extensive experience in various surgical specialties and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesia providers.
• Assist in planning and implementing patient care strategies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout surgical procedures.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of four years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Demonstrated experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, Gynecology (GYN), and Orthopedics.
• Must have at least three years of direct clinical experience; first-time travelers are not accepted.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

• This position includes weekend shifts (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday).
• Call shifts are variable and may be assigned as needed.
• Floating will be required within scope of practice and to outpatient departments as necessary.
• Maximum allowed time off is seven days, with no holiday requests approved during specified blackout dates.
