CNA

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility. The successful candidate will exhibit compassion and dedication while providing essential patient care.

Job Details

• Unit Type: LTC/SNF
• Shift Length: 8 or 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Certifications Required: BLS Certification
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

Shift Information

Shifts may vary, with options including:

• 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Patient Care Responsibilities

The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with daily activities of living (ADLs)
• Monitoring patients’ physical and emotional well-being
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Documenting care provided and patient progress

Patient Population

The facility cares for patients with various diagnoses, including:

• Dementia
• Diabetes
• Hypertension
• Chronic Kidney Disease
• Risk of falls

Additional Requirements

• Active Nebraska CNA license is required to apply.
• Participation in location-specific orientation of 1-2 shifts is mandatory.
