ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our Float Pool team. This role requires flexibility as you will float to multiple units, including MS, Tele, PCU, Overflow, and PACU when needed. Candidates must be available to work all holidays and adhere to the schedule without request accommodation.

Contract Details

• Start Dates:
  • 11/16 – 13-week contract
  • 12/7 and 12/14 – 8-week contracts
• Shift: Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• 36 or 48-hour weekly contracts available
• Weekend requirement: Yes
• Floating requirement: Yes

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Licensure: Active RN License in California
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
• Eligibility: First-time travelers are welcome (must have experience in facilities with 400 beds or larger)
• Flu Vaccine: Required with no declinations permitted
• Special Requirements: Experience with PA Line/Swan Ganz is highly preferred; large hospital experience is required

Additional Information

An EKG exam will be administered on the first day of orientation. Candidates must pass this exam (one attempt) to proceed with the contract.
