Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry care. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care through effective nursing practices and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse will hold accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The individual will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care while ensuring clinical competencies through ongoing education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessments, planning, and evaluation.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1.
• Float between various departments and facilities as needed.
• Delegate patient care priorities in alignment with the education and experience of the staff.
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts of 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including a commitment to working 6 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule. The RN will be part of a float pool, serving multiple locations within the region.
