Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in emergency nursing and possess essential certifications.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3×12 Night Shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend, subject to change based on departmental needs

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency setting.
• Utilizing the Omnicell medication system for medication administration.
• Documenting patient care accurately using the EPIC documentation system.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Floating to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.
• 1 year of experience with the EPIC documentation system is required.
• Current Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS.
• Preferred Certification: TNCC.
