Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) who is skilled in circulating for orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the operating room, demonstrating the ability to perform tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for complex orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgical procedures.
• Cassisting in the preparation and monitoring of patients prior to and during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts and on-call duties, with availability for mandatory overtime as needed.
• May be assigned to float or reassign to different departments, units, or facilities as required, within appropriate clinical competencies.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience as an Operating Room RN or a combination of operating room experience.
• Strong circulating experience in orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries is essential.
• Scrub experience is highly preferred, particularly with complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic cases.
• Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic surgical systems is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Must be adaptable to varying shift schedules, including variable hours and rotating weekends/holidays.
