Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Shift Details

This position offers a Day shift schedule, specifically a 4×10-hour format from 08:00 to 18:30. There may be varied start times and additional shifts available, including options for 5x8s or 4x10s.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Provide assistance during emergencies and unexpected patient needs.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in a PACU or similar recovery environment is highly desirable.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
