Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehab

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. This position involves providing patient-centered therapeutic interventions in a dynamic and supportive environment. The primary focus will be on treating patients with neurological conditions, with a particular emphasis on stroke diagnosis. Additional diagnoses may include brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, cancer, and general debility.

Schedule Options

• 5×8-hour shifts: Friday to Tuesday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 4×10-hour shifts: Friday to Monday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Qualifications

• Current NBCOT certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• Previous experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation facility is strongly preferred. Candidates with a robust background in acute care will also be considered.
• New graduates are not eligible; only candidates with prior relevant experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery and functional performance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes and adaptive techniques.
