Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of relevant experience and be proficient in circulating procedures. This role involves working flexible shifts with opportunities for extended hours.

Shift Details

• 4×10 or 5×8 hour shifts available
• 12-hour shifts may be available on Thursdays and Fridays for candidates competent in electrophysiology (EP)

Call Requirements

Rotational call is required, approximately 10-12 days per month, including every third weekend.

Daily Census

The daily patient census typically ranges from 5 to 7 patients.

Common Procedures

Responsibilities may include:

• Cardiac Procedures: Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), Balloon Pumps, Temporary Pacemaker, Permanent Pacemaker/Defibrillator, Pericardial Effusion, STEMI calls
• Interventional Radiology Procedures: Venous Access, Drain Placement, Gastrostomy Tube Insertion, Pulmonary Embolism (PE) Management, Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Management, TIPS, Peripheral Vascular (PV) Procedures, Fistula Work, Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), Prostate Embolization, Management of Internal Bleeds (GI/Post Partum/Other)

Important Note

As of November 30, 2024, Registered Nurses from Indiana will be subject to new work restrictions, with specific exceptions for perioperative, allied, and ambulatory travel RN roles. This includes positions in Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Cath Lab, and Same Day Surgery.
