Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Long Term Care (LTC) to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates who possess a current Alaska nursing license and prior travel experience.

Key Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Variable 4×12 hours
• Duration: 13 or 26-week assignment (Traveler’s choice)
• Patient Ratios: 1:20
• Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in related field
• Certifications Required: BLS
• Food Worker Certification: Required for all caregivers, obtained on-site during orientation (fee applies)
• Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks

Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license required
• Experience in Long Term Care is essential
• All caregivers must obtain Alaska Food Worker Certification during orientation
• Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with application; no more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26-week contract

Facility Information

This is a Long Term Care Facility with a total of 40 staffed beds. The environment promotes a supportive and collaborative atmosphere for both patients and staff members.
