Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, fostering an environment of healing, and supporting patients’ recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Float between units as needed, providing care support to various patients.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical nursing role preferred.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems, Epic preferred.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as per facility needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Information

• Flexible shift options: Night shifts available, 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00).
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:6.
• No on-call requirement.
