Radiology Technologist

Job Description

The Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in providing quality diagnostic imaging services. This position requires the ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and to work collaboratively within various clinical settings.

Schedule

• 4×10 hours shifts
• Must be able to rotate nights as needed

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required
• Current IEMA license is required
• Fluoroscopy experience
• Experience in Emergency Department (ED) and Operating Room (OR) settings
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred

Licensure and Permits

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state regulations
• Must be familiar with state and federal regulations
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification

Skills and Knowledge

• Proficient computer skills
• Proven knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT
