Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, though first-time travelers are accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Manage critical situations effectively while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, requiring three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:00. The role includes a every other weekend commitment, with no on-call responsibilities.

Holiday Commitment

The successful candidate will be expected to work designated major holidays during their assignment period as follows:

• If one major holiday occurs in the assignment period, attendance is required.
• If two major holidays occur, attendance at both is expected.
• If three major holidays occur, attendance at two is required.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day.

Compliance

Full compliance with all pre-employment requirements is necessary to ensure timely onboarding. Delays in compliance may result in a two-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedules.

Orientation

The number of non-billable orientation hours is based on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment and 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).

• Floating within the facility/scope of practice may be required as needed.
• Locals are accepted with the same rate structure.
