Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide exceptional nursing care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal examinations and assist in vaginal deliveries.
• Circulate in cesarean section deliveries and provide support as needed.
• Start IVs and draw blood as required.
• Utilize NRP skills to assist with stabilization of newborns post-delivery.
• Recognize and manage complications such as postpartum hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Qualifications

• Required certifications:
  • AWHONN Intermediate
  • BLS
  • FHM
  • NRP
• Preferred certifications:
  • AWHONN Advanced
• Comfortable completing vaginal exams and managing labor and delivery processes.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including both nights and days.
