Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray procedures. This role involves performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Responsiveness and initiative are crucial for applying the appropriate skills to facilitate accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute technical procedures in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
• Ensure proper patient care and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate proficient operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.
• Effectively operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications.
• Attend mandatory education sessions, including topics such as infection control and bloodborne pathogens.
• Supervise or instruct department personnel as needed.

Shift Details

This position requires five 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be willing to cover weekends every other weekend and may be required to provide holiday coverage as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year of current experience.
• Must be willing to work in the Operating Room.
• ARRT (R) Certification is required.
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License is required, with proof of application accepted.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle available for this role.

Additional Requirements

• All requested time off must be documented at the time of application. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Travelers must be reachable and have voicemail set up on their phones.
• Must work mandated holiday blocks, including Christmas and New Year periods.
