Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong medical and surgical knowledge.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Ratios: 4:1; 5:1
• Weekends: Rotating every other weekend

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• AHA BLS certification required
• Current KS or Multistate RN license required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to medical and surgical patients
• Perform infusions potentially in collaboration with the infusion center
• Occasionally care for pediatric patients, including those with conditions such as croup or RSV
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner

Additional Information

• Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs
• Orientation period of 1-2 days for new hires
• Potential for block scheduling with three consecutive shifts
