Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stepdown nursing to join our team for a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with established standards.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for patients in a stepdown unit.
• Administer medications and perform IV starts as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote optimal health outcomes.

Shifts

This position involves working night shifts, specifically a 3×12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a Stepdown unit.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in managing patients on telemetry.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR systems is a plus.
• Must wear royal blue scrubs.

Work Requirements

This role requires availability for every other weekend (EOW) and holidays, with minimal to no requests for time off (RTO).

All candidates are required to provide a copy of their Driver’s License and updated nursing credentials for verification purposes.
