Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional cardiology and possess the required certifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor during cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
• Assist in the care and management of patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
• Utilize EMR systems such as Epic and Merge for patient documentation.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Shifts available: 4x10s or 5x8s.
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements.
• Call response time: 30 minutes.
• Occasional floating to other procedural areas may be required based on census.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and RCIS via CCI.
• Proficiency in scrubbing techniques and monitoring patients.
• Experience with interventional cardiology and related patient diagnoses, including structural heart and peripheral vascular.

Orientation & Training

• 3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation will be provided.
• Scrubs will be provided for the role.
