ASU/PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ASU/PACU Registered Nurse for a full-time position. This role involves a commitment to providing high-quality nursing care in the Ambulatory Surgical Unit and Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ASU/PACU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before and after surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ASU/PACU or Critical Care unit.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours of work per week, with 4 shifts of 9 hours each during the day and a weekend call rotation.
