Perioperative Transition Team Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Op/PACU

We are currently seeking two experienced Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Transition Team in Pre-Op/PACU. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients before and after surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Start Date: 09/28 (ASAP)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days/Evenings, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• On-Call: 4-5 calls per 4-week period, including weekends

Responsibilities

As a member of the Perioperative Transition Team, your duties will include:

• Providing comprehensive care to patients in both Pre-Op and PACU settings.
• Monitoring patient progress and responding to their needs during the perioperative process.
• Assisting with patient education to ensure understanding of procedures and recovery processes.
• Collaborating with the surgical and nursing team to deliver safe and effective patient care.
• Participating in the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in Pre-Op and PACU, including pediatric experience.
• Experience in both Phase I & II recovery.
• Active RN license in the state of Hawaii.
• Certification in AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS.
