Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Rehab

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in working with a diverse range of orthopedic populations, including young athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals dealing with debility, falls, and balance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one patient care to support rehabilitation goals.
• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans established by supervising physical therapists.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions as needed to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies and exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and care activities.

Schedule:

This position offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with orthopedic populations is required; 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Experience with young athletes and post-operative patient care is essential.
• Competence in fall prevention, balance training, and addressing patient debility.
• Active physical therapy assistant license is required. Pending licenses may be accepted.
