Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother-Baby and Couplet Care in the Post Partum unit. This position offers a 13-week assignment with night shifts scheduled for 3×12-hour periods weekly.

Schedule

• Shift: Night 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:00)
• Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday)
• Every other holiday

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum and antepartum patients.
• Float within the skill set as required, including care for Level II nursery patients in the NICU.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or pending.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Experience in Mother-Baby / Couplet Care and postpartum nursing preferred.

Additional Information

Candidates can request up to 40 hours of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment.
