PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. This role requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with potential weekend coverage. The position does not currently involve on-call duties but may require holiday shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients’ recovery post-surgery.
• Administer medications as prescribed and respond to patient needs.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care processes and outcomes accurately.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or similar setting is required.
• New travel nurses are welcome to apply.

Schedule

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week, typically from 19:00 to 07:00. Flexibility to cover weekends and holidays is essential.
