Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care

Job Description

Join a dynamic team providing acute care services in a supportive and professional environment. This position involves delivering high-quality physical therapy to inpatients while managing a patient load of more than 8 patients per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop treatment plans in accordance with established guidelines.
• Administer therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
• Comply with facility protocols and standards of care.

Holiday Requirement

Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays: Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. For contracts that cover only 2 holidays, travelers are expected to work 1 of the 2 holidays. Please submit requests for a maximum of 1 holiday off.

Schedule Requirements

• Preferred schedule: 5 days per week for 8-hour shifts; alternative option of 4 ten-hour days may be considered.
• Weekend work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required.
• Must hold a valid physical therapy license in Pennsylvania or possess compact PT licensure.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is essential.

Process

Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess skills and fit for the position. Following the clinical assessment, finalists will be presented to management for an interview and final decision.
