Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care Hospital

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team, focused on providing exceptional care in an acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing treatment programs for patients requiring rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient setting.
• Manage a caseload of more than 8 patients on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Work Schedule

The preferred schedule is 5 days per week with 8-hour shifts. However, 4 ten-hour shifts may also be considered based on the needs of the department.

Holiday and Weekend Work

Travelers will be expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Years Eve/New Years Day. If the contract spans only 2 holidays, the expectation is to work 1 of those holidays. Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of 7 days.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of acute care experience is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania or have Compact PT Licensure.
• Experience with EPIC or related electronic health records is mandatory.
