Physical Therapist

Shift Details

This position offers a shift from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. A 36-hour workweek is also an option, with Fridays being scheduled from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Essential Duties

• Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part.
• Continuously stand and sit for approximately 90% of the time.
• Reach with hands and arms as necessary.
• Lift and/or move at least 50 pounds as required.
• Be aware of potential exposure to infectious diseases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a physical therapist.
• Current Michigan PT License is required.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• A supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years is required.

The candidate must provide a full “fit for duty” physical examination if an extended offer is made.
