CT Technologist

We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient individuals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and demonstrate proficiency in CT scanning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans of the head, brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.
• Assist in biopsy and drainage procedures as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of CT system processing and be familiar with studies using or without contrast media.
• Adhere to departmental protocols under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Ensure quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in call requirements, providing after-hours support as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in CT imaging.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Registered as a general radiographer and licensed by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.

Working Conditions

• Work schedule includes nights on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
• Patient ratio is approximately 3 scans per hour per technologist.
• Ability to accommodate a maximum of 1 week of requested time off.
