CT Technologist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient cases, under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Exhibit knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media.
• Understand cross-sectional anatomy and adhere to departmental protocols for timely diagnostic service provision.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• ARRT (CT) certification is required.
• Graduate from an accredited AMA school as a Radiologic Technologist.
• State licensure as a general radiographer is required.

Working Conditions:

• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
• Shifts will consist of four 10-hour days.
• Call is required once per week.
• Patient ratio of 3 scans per hour per technician.
