Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a Med/Surg setting. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing quality patient care to a diverse patient population that includes adults, geriatrics, and occasional pediatric patients.

Position Information

• Department: Med/Surg
• Number of Beds: 18
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech
• Weekend Hours: Rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg patients, focusing on quality and patient-centered care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Perform clinical tasks, including managing IVs and Foley catheters, and addressing pain management needs.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Education: ADN or BSN
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with IVs, Foley catheters, and electronic medication administration records (EMAR).
• Personality Fit: Must be friendly, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively within a team.

Additional Information

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. Candidates must comply with state-specific checks, including the Tennessee Abuse Registry.
