Orthopedic Operating Room Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Operating Room Technician with over three years of experience in an orthopedic setting. This position involves assisting surgical teams in delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for orthopedic surgeries, ensuring that all necessary instruments and equipment are available and sterile.
• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during procedures by providing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Maintain a sterile environment in accordance with best practices and safety protocols.
• Assist with the positioning of patients and the draping of surgical sites.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of surgical equipment and instruments post-operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an orthopedic surgery setting.
• Current operating room certification and relevant licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Details

This position requires a commitment to a 10-hour daytime shift from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM. The role is for a contract duration of 26 weeks.
