Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life following an injury or illness.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 62
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1
• Equipment: Hoyer, vector, lite gait
• Patient Population: Neuro and other adult

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to patients recovering from various conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injuries.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Implement effective treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient mobility and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals and techniques for continued progress.

Qualifications

• Education: Licensed therapist from an accredited university and program.
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience in neurological rehabilitation.
• Personality Fit: Collaborative, self-starter, and proficient problem solver.
