ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working in an intense and fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in need. Below are the details regarding the shift, requirements, and responsibilities for this role.

Shift Information

• Scheduled: 7 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours scheduled per week, with 24 hours guaranteed
• Floating to similar units or other locations may be required

Weekend Requirements

Weekend scheduling will be determined by the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions using advanced equipment
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and report changes to medical staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of recent ICU experience required
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active state license to practice nursing without any hits
• NIHSS certification required
• Transport experience is highly preferred

Certification Requirements

• NIHSS
• BLS (AHA certified)
• ACLS (AHA certified)

Please note that candidates must have completed their skills checklist within the last 12 months and possess a valid driver’s license for residency verification. Candidates must be able to start on the specified date or no more than one week later, with limited time off (RTO) not to exceed seven days and no leave during the first week of the assignment.
