Registered Nurse (RN) Perioperative

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) Perioperative will work in the Operating Room (Periop) assisting in surgical procedures and providing care to patients in the perioperative phase.

Position Details

• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts (7 PM – 7 AM). Weekends and holidays are included.
• Contract Dates: Start: 11/02/2026, End: 01/02/2027 (No extensions available).
• Time Off: Preference is given to candidates with no time off requests.

Vaccination Requirements

• Flu vaccine required.
• COVID-19 vaccine required; no exemptions permitted.

Clinical Requirements

• Active RN license (or compact license applicable to Rhode Island).
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• CNOR preferred (confirmation if needed).
• Minimum of 1-2 years recent OB/Periop OR experience required, specifically with C-sections, D&C, PPTL, and D&E procedures.
