Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups of patients according to established care standards and the nursing process. The role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. The ideal candidate will utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure effective patient care.
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for:
- Collecting relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
- Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
- Developing a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Implementing the care plan, coordinating care delivery, and promoting a safe environment.
- Evaluating progress toward achieving patient outcomes.
- Identifying appropriate outcomes for patients or their specific situations.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide patient-centered care.
- Providing educational opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
- Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegating tasks appropriately and coordinating duties among healthcare team members.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in nursing, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an approved vendor is required.
