Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist for a contract position in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality therapy services to patients recovering from various conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ functional abilities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and interventions.

Work Schedule

The work schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional early morning starts for patient care. One Saturday each month may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Cerner.

Additional Information

The dress code for the position includes a grey scrub top and black scrub bottoms. Parking is available onsite.
