Acute Registered Nurse (RN): M/S TELE

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Acute Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a medical/surgical telemetry unit. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, focusing on effective communication and professionalism.

Position Details

• Unit: Medical Surgical Combination
• Trauma Level: III
• Shift: Nights (7P – 7:30A)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend as needed
• Call Requirements: As needed
• Float Requirements: Possibility to float to similar med/surg units

Core Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical telemetry setting.
• Perform IV insertions and manage medications using available technology.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure quality care and positive outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience in a med/surg or telemetry setting
• Education: Active certification/licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state

• Patient Population: Serves all ages
• Technology: Omnicell for medication dispensing, EHR: Meditech

Dress Code

Required attire is scrubs of any color; casual wear is not acceptable.
