ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel opportunity. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This is an excellent chance to gain diverse experience while working flexible hours.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, attending to the needs of critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient status and administer medications as necessary, adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Educate patients and families about ongoing care and health management.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Work Schedule

This position primarily involves day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with the flexibility to accommodate up to 48 hours per week based on scheduling requests.
