Registered Nurse (RN) – Obstetrics and Gynecology

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mother/Baby care or Medical Surgical nursing.

Position Information:

• Department: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Shift: Nights, 1830-0700
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirements: As required by facility (Every third weekend)
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications:

• Required Licensure: Current RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri
• Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only
• Preferred Certifications: NRP and STABLE
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Mother/Baby or Med Surg nursing

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 24 adult/10 newborns
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Equipment Used: Alaris IV pumps
• EMR System: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Mother/Baby and/or Med Surg nursing
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Both Mother/Baby and Med Surg experience due to diverse patient population
• Type of Patients: Patients include Mother/Baby, GYN surgical, and those undergoing bariatric and colorectal procedures
