Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Information:

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Step Down
• Number of Openings: 2
• Shift: Nights, 3 x 12 hours
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Hours: Rotating every other week

Qualifications:

• Required Licensure: Current RN License eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Stepdown nursing
• Float Requirements: As needed

Unit Information:

• Type of Patients on Unit: Neuro Medical Surgical
• EMR: EPIC

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Black
• Unacceptable Attire: Any color other than specified above

Job Responsibilities:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of care and evaluates its overall effectiveness. Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Performs all duties consistently with our mission, values, and service standards.
