Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. This position is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on Medical Surgical and Telemetry responsibilities.
• Float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments as necessary based on unit needs.
• Monitor patients with remote telemetry to ensure safety and well-being.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records using Cerner software.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and provide support to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Recent experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Proficient in Cerner charting and documentation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 2 completed travel assignments in similar settings.

Work Schedule

This role requires flexible scheduling with day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Nurses will be expected to work every other weekend and may be required to float to different departments as needed. Holiday shifts may also be part of the schedule.
